Schedule events, share registration links, track RSVPs, and see who clicked.

Events Screen

The Events screen shows a calendar at the top and a list of all your events below it.

Calendar

  • Tap any date to filter the list to events on that day.
  • Days that have events are marked with a small dot.
  • Tap the highlighted date again (or the ✕ chip) to clear the filter and see all events.
  • Navigate months with the left/right arrows.

Event list

Events are sorted: upcoming first (nearest date at top), then past events (most recent first). Each event card shows:

  • Title and description
  • Start/end date & time
  • Location and registration link (if set)
  • RSVP count and click count
  • Favourite toggle, edit, and delete buttons

Creating an Event

Tap + Add Event (FAB or toolbar button) to open the event creation form.

  1. Enter a title for your event (required).
  2. Write a description (required) — this appears on the event page and in the list.
  3. Pick a start date and time using the date/time pickers.
  4. Optionally set an end date and time.
  5. Optionally add a location (venue name or address).
  6. Optionally add a location URL (e.g. a Google Maps link).
  7. Optionally add a registration URL (e.g. Eventbrite, a form, etc.). This appears as a button on the event card.
  8. Optionally link the event to a Profile (a branded landing page).
  9. Optionally upload a cover image by tapping the upload area.
  10. Tap Create Event. The event appears in the list and on the calendar.
Short URL: Every event gets a short URL automatically (e.g. e.sg/flutter-meetup). Share it from the event card using the share buttons.

Editing & Deleting Events

Edit

Tap the pencil icon on an event card to open the edit form. All fields are pre-populated. Make your changes and tap Save Changes.

Delete

Tap the trash icon on an event card. If Confirm before deleting is enabled in Settings, a dialog asks you to confirm. Deletion is permanent.

Favourite

Tap the star icon to pin an event at the top of the list.

Optimistic updates: Favourite toggles and deletes update the UI immediately. If the server call fails, the change is automatically rolled back.

Event Stats & RSVPs

Tap the RSVP count badge or the clicks badge on an event card (or navigate to stats from the edit screen) to view event analytics.
