Navigating the App
The app uses an adaptive layout: the navigation changes depending on your screen size.
Mobile (Bottom Navigation Bar)
On phones and small screens, a bottom navigation bar displays six tabs:
Tab
Section
🏠 Home
Your dashboard — favorites, top/recent links, profiles, forms, events
🔗 Links
Your short links list
📅 Events
Events calendar and list
📋 Forms
Dynamic forms list
👤 Profiles
Custom profile pages
⚙️ Settings
App preferences, account details, and (for admins) user management
A circular + button (FAB) in the bottom-right lets you quickly create a new item in the current section.
Desktop (Navigation Rail)
On screens wider than 800 px (tablets in landscape, desktops, web browsers), the navigation moves to a left-side rail.
Icons with labels run vertically on the left.
The content area takes up the remaining space.
A New Link button sits at the top of the rail for quick access.
Tooltips appear on hover when enabled in Settings.
Responsive breakpoint: The layout switches at 800 px. Resize your browser window to see the transition.
Logging Out
On mobile, tap the log-out icon in the Links screen's toolbar, then confirm. On desktop/web, tap the log-out icon at the bottom of the navigation rail. Either way your token is cleared and you are returned to the login screen.
Note: Logging out does not delete any of your links, events, forms, or profiles — all data remains on the server.
