Your Links List
The Links screen is the home screen of the app. It shows all your short links as cards, with favourites pinned to the top.
What each card shows
- Description — your label for the link (top-left)
- Clicks badge — total click count
- Short URL chip — tap to copy it to the clipboard
- Original URL — shown truncated below
- Creation date — ISO or relative, depending on Settings
- Share buttons — configurable icons to share instantly
- Favourite star — pin or unpin a link
- Edit & Delete icons — manage the link
Refreshing
Pull down anywhere in the list (mobile) or use the toolbar refresh button to reload fresh data from the server.
Creating a Short Link
Tap the + button (FAB on mobile, or New Link in the rail on desktop) to open the create form.
- Enter the long URL you want to shorten. It must start with
http://orhttps://. Use the clipboard button to paste from your clipboard instantly. - Optionally add a description — a friendly label to help you remember what the link is for.
- Tap Create Short Link. The app contacts the server and returns your new short URL.
- Your short URL appears as a chip — tap it to copy it to the clipboard.
- Share the link immediately using the sharing buttons (see below).
- Tap + Another to create another link, or See all links to return to the list.
Sharing Options
After creating a link (or from any link card), you can share via multiple channels. The visible buttons can be configured in Settings.

QR Codes
Tap the QR button on any link card or stats screen to open a full-screen QR code sheet.
- The QR encodes your short URL so anyone can scan it with a phone camera.
- Tap Save to download the QR image to your device.
- Tap Share to send the QR image via the native share sheet.
- On mobile, you can enable Brighten screen on QR in Settings so the QR is easier to scan in dim environments.
Editing & Deleting Links
Edit a link
Tap the pencil icon on a link card. A form opens pre-filled with the current URL and description. Make your changes and tap Save.
Delete a link
Tap the trash icon on a link card. If the Confirm before deleting option is enabled in Settings, a confirmation dialog appears first. Deletion is permanent — there is no undo.
Favouriting a link
Tap the star icon on a link card to toggle its favourite status. Favourited links always appear at the top of the list.
Link Analytics
Tap anywhere on a link card (not on a button) to open the Link Stats screen.
Stats overview
- Total clicks — large counter at the top.
- 20-day bar chart — daily click counts over the past 20 days. Days with no clicks show a zero bar. Hover (web) or read the axis labels.
- Last visitors log — up to 50 most recent visits showing IP address, country, and timestamp. Tap a row to see the full user-agent string.
- View click geography — opens an interactive world map (see below).
Visitor detail
Tap any visitor row to open a detail card showing:
- IP address
- Country
- Exact timestamp
- User-Agent string (browser / device)
Click Geography Map
Tap View click geography from the stats screen to see an interactive world map showing where your visitors came from.
- Each country with visitors is marked by a circle whose size scales with the number of clicks.
- The circle label shows the country name and click count.
- A top-5 legend in the bottom-left lists your highest-traffic countries.
- Pan and zoom freely to explore.
